I am so excited, I could just pop. I was presented with the news yesterday that I will be going to Paris in July with my mother to meet my sister after her 6 months of study abroad. After spending a day or two in Paris, we will then get a car and tour Germany and Holland for 2 weeks and then head back home. It is a trip of a lifetime!

I am already making a mental list of all the sites I want to visit and food I want to sample while I am there. I thinking learning a bit of German before I go because the only German I know is the bits I heard from my grandmother and words from arias in operas that I learned in college. One of the most exciting destinations in Germany will be the castles. I am going to relish every moment spent in those castles.
