Just read my last blog and couldn't believe I was the author! It is funny how at times I amuse myself with what I write and at other times I read like a simple bore. At any rate, I haven't blogged in a long time and need to catch up on the promise I made to myself to do this more often. Just back from Europe, I am happy, nostalgic and jet lagged all at once. Not only did I get to marvel at great works of art and incredible castles from long ago, I also got to marvel at my sister's great fluency in French and her incredible knack to make me laugh at just about anything at any time. She sure is a great girl. I have taken advantage of our relationship in the past and now I just want to be near her and soak her up. Some would envy her for her perfect white teeth, gloriously thick hair and legs that don't stop... but she is my Lar. I don't see those enviable things (ok, I do just a little), but just accept them as who my sister is and what she has grown to be. I am so proud she claims me as her sister. She is the little girl that would wake me in the middle of the night because she had a nightmare or the one that made up silly phrases like, "I like you the best...green". That's my sister. I just wish we had made this bond so much earlier, but then again, maybe it has always been there and we just celebrated this bond these past 2 weeks. I love my Lar. Always have and always will...

You are truly fortunate to have this relationship. As you know, I have two older siblings. They have missed out on a great relationship. It really is up to the older one to reach out and forget how annoying the younger one was, to really see her worth. To be proud of her and protective of her dreams. You will always be best of friends now, while sharing the bonds of sisterhood.
